Empowering your clients to make change.
By Mike DAngelo

Client empowerment is a major part of our job. If we don't empower them, they do not change. If they do not change, we are out of a job.

.

Regardless of how great our training programs are, at the end of the day if you are unable to get them actively engaged in the process, you'll quickly lose them

.

We all know what I am talking about. Who knows what's going on inside their head. Most of the time it is a lack of belief in themselves.

Getting through that junk, to get to the change, is priority #1.

.

When you stay anchored doing whatever is needed to keep clients engaged to move them forward, everyone wins. Some clients this happens instantly, and others not so much. The best way to do this is to be organized with client info. The more clients you have, the more you need systems to keep track of everything for you. Most clients respond incredibly well when they are accepted the way they are, nurchured and compassionately reminded of "our' goals and the "why" behind them.

.

My friend Brian Cannone (Big wig at Maxx Fitness Cubzz) refers to this as "Keeping your eye on their bullseye." I am positive his advice has lead to their success.

When you believe in your clients more than they believe in themselves, that is the sweet spot. That is when the potential for transformation takes place, but you have to stay on them to empower and motivate them.

.

This way, you deeply impacts those you are personally serving in a way that few do. The potential is there, the question is can you do that consistanlty and reliably with every single client? With precision? Day in and day out?

.

Our job as Fitness professionals is to empower our clients to make change. Making change leads to accomplishing goals. When clients achieve their goals, you retain them longer.

.

As we know behavior change is not easy, that's why accountability is so important. And with accountability comes constant reminders and support around the personbal goals, motivations, limitations and challeneges each and every one of our clients have. When we keep our eye on that ball, growth becomes inevitable . When you serve well, succuss comes easily.

.

Technology accelerates this process of empowerment by interacting with it. When you see it for yourself, you'll instantly understand why it works so well.

Believe your clients can ... and they will.

The "Client Empowerment Factor" is real. When you have all the information you need about a client at the tip of your fingers, you simplify your ability to impact and empower your clients.

This is how we deliver results that retain clients longer ... and sometimes for life. If you're interested in learning an innovative way to do this, click the link.
